So, I've spent much too long this evening on trying to figure out how to embed a music player on this blog. Actually, I can get a music player on here, it just isn't playing my music because I can't find the URL and I want to be of a slightly higher class than Youtube. If you have any suggestions, please alert me. In the meantime, please feel free to:
Download My Submissions to the Cover Challenge Here
And remember to declare me the winner in the comments section...that is once Nick gets his act together...
Z!
Ok! So far, Z's the winner in my book!

I'm confused. Did you just cover both out of boredom while waiting for this Nick character? Or do you have to cover both song for each challenge? I suppose it could actually be better than way, otherwise the contest could end up just trying to find the hardest song possible for the other person. If you actually did have to cover both, then you'd have to make sure you were confident with your ability on a particular song. I liked Stuck in the Middle... I think you need to find some way to get that dance beat feel in Teenage Dream. Nice work though. Also... here's your URL https://sites.google.com/site/thecoverchallenge/january-covers/StuckInTheMiddle.mp3
ReplyDeleteThe idea is to challenge the other to a song, but you also have to cover it yourself. I was aiming for an acoustic Weezer feel for Teenage Dream. I think maybe a tambourine or shaker could liven it up a bit, though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Zach is in the lead. I vote that the next challenge be Since You've Been Gone, the 80's song and the Kelly Clarkson song
ReplyDeleteI am diggin' the "Stuck in the Middle" cover!
